More and more people are suffering from stress and anxiety and their related illnesses to the detriment of their happiness and efficiency in the work place.
Simple physical, breathing and relaxation exercises can help to keep people calm and make their experience of work more enjoyable and productive.
There is much more emphasis being put on maintaining employees health and well being and for this reason we have developed a 6 week programme to offer within the workplace. The aims of the course are to teach basic yoga exercises, breathing and relaxation techniques to support the health and well being of employees.
The course includes simple exercises to do at the desk and a relaxation CD to use at home.
Grants aimed at general health and well being may be available to run these courses.
Llwyn Yr Eos School
were interested in running a class after school for their teachers. With our support they applied to the Community Chest and got £750 towards yoga mats and teachers fees. The class is now in its third term and paid for by the teachers themselves. They value the course not only as an excellent way to deal with stress and keep them fit, but also as a valuable group social activity outside of work time.
